Non-harmonic Tones

NO MORE MYSTERY! 

Every note has a function and can be explained. Any note that does not belong to a chord (a harmonic note) can be identified as a type of Non-harmonic Tone. Beware of ESCAPE NOTES they are actually rare and over use or ignorance in using them is the main weakness of beginners in composing music.
